Camp Red Tree
Camp Red Tree is a performing arts-oriented camp for kids ages 7 to 12. Camp takes place over the course of two weeks from July 17th to the 28th and goes from 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. Our focus is not just on acting or singing, but on providing a well-rounded experience covering all aspects of theatre, including directing, stage managing, set building and designing, lighting design, and much more.

One of the unique features of Camp Red Tree is its "Life is a Performance" theme. This encourages children to embrace their creativity and express themselves through performance. It also teaches them valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, which are essential for success in any field.
The camp is led by experienced instructors who are experts in their respective fields. They have a passion for teaching and helping children develop their skills and confidence. The instructors provide individualized attention and feedback to each child, ensuring that they get the most out of their experience.
Best of all, the camp takes place in an actual theatre, providing a safe and comfortable environment for children to learn and grow. The facility is equipped with a stage, sound and lighting systems, and an entire set-building shop.
Overall, Camp Red Tree's unique features, comprehensive approach, experienced instructors, and facilities make it one of the best camps in Hamilton for children who are interested in musical theatre.
Camp tuition is $425 plus tax. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit. We provide care outside of camp hours (9 am to 4 pm) starting at 8 am and going until 6 pm at a rate of $20/hour per child.
Each kid goes home with a self-made Camp Red Tree t-shirt and a professional cast photo. The session ends with a musical performance and cast party to celebrate all of our campers.
